About & FAQ
Meet Carmel, Nick and Whillow
A family-run business from Smeaton, Victoria, moving pets and birds with the kind of care you'd want for your own. We started with budgie breeding - the bird in our logo is Whillow, a half-sider chimera - and grew into the transport team owners and breeders trust.
Family-run
Started with budgies, built on care
Aussie Pet Connections began with budgie breeding. The little bird in our logo is Whillow, a half-sider chimera - half one colour, half another. That same personal attention carries through everything we do: measuring crates at pick-up, photo updates on the road, and a friendly voice at the end of the phone.
Carmel and Nick still run every run themselves. You deal with people who know your animal - not a freight counter.

FAQ
Answers owners and breeders ask us
Dates, airlines, documents, collection, payment, crates, fees, timing, regional and international enquiries, emails, reminders and callbacks.
Every journey needs a quote because the cost depends on the animal, the route, the crate size and the date. Send us the details through the Get a quote page and we'll come back with a price - it isn't a confirmed booking until we both agree and the details are locked in.
