Road Transport Agreement & Guidelines
Transport Conditions Summary
Aussie Pet Connections provides caring, door-to-door road transport for pets, birds, poultry, and small animals. By booking transport with us, senders and receivers agree to the following terms:
1. Animal Fitness & Welfare
All animals must be in a fit, healthy condition to travel. Pregnant animals past their safe travel window, unweaned young without mothers, or severely ill animals cannot be transported. Any medications or specific dietary needs must be clearly labelled and handed over at pick-up.
2. Crates, Boxes & Measuring at Pick-up
Animals must travel in secure, well-ventilated crates or freight boxes matching airline and road welfare standards. To protect buyers from scams and misrepresentation, Carmel measures crates and animals at pick-up to verify the buyer receives what they paid for. We also supply airline-approved crates and bird boxes if required.
3. Pick-up and Drop-off Windows
Because we transport live animals and route traffic and weather conditions change, exact arrival times are provided as windows. Carmel sends photo updates and arrival notices as she approaches your location. Someone authorised must be available to hand over and receive the animal.
4. Invoices, Payments & Quotes
A quote request is not a confirmed booking. Bookings are confirmed upon mutual agreement and invoice issuance. Payment can be made by direct deposit prior to delivery, or card payment (card surcharges may apply). Invoices indicate whether the sender or receiver is responsible for payment.
5. Identification & Safe Handover
For the security of valuable pets and birds, receivers must present photo identification at drop-off. No animal is left unattended under any circumstances.
